Tamzin Thomas was crowned the African Junior 100m Champion at the African Junior Championships held in Ethiopia in March 2015. In addition she also came third in the Senior Women’s 100m at the SA Athletics Championships held in Stellenbosch, and won both the 100m and 200m at the Junior championships held in Bloemfontein.

Lekeasha Johnson was selected for the Continental team and was in attendance for Team Africa at the recently held 2015 ITTF World Cadet Challenge,23 Oct 2015 – 31 Oct 2015, in Sharm El-Sheikh, EGYPT. The outing started with an extensive training camp hosted by Swedish Coach and Olympian, Peter Karlsonn. This proved to be a hard.

Ziyaad Abrahams was selected for the South African u19 team that played Bangladesh in home and away series. Ziyaad was the leading wicket-taker (10 wickets in 4 matches) during the tour of Bangladesh in March. Ziyaad enjoyed a successful season by representing the WP U17 team at the CSA National U17 Week held in Johannesburg.

Tezna Abrahams, 17 years old, recently participated in the SA Senior National Aquatics Championship hosted over the period of six days, 15th and 21st April 2013, at the Newton Park Swimming Pool in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. Tezna is a Grade 12 learner at the Western Cape Sport School, Swimming for the University of Western.

Our table-tennis players participated in the South African Inter –Regional & Open Championships 2015 held in Cape Town, 24 June – 4 July and performed with great aplomb. The results were as follows: Mixed Doubles – SILVER Doubles – SILVER Singles – GOLD Team Event – GOLD Lekeasha Johnson became the SA no.1 and was selected for the African team.
